Evasive defendants
Deliberate evasion is a distinct discipline: pattern-of-life development, employment and vehicle confirmation, timing attempts to when the subject is actually there, and documenting the evasion itself. Where a defendant is genuinely unserveable, that record becomes your motion.

When personal service fails, what you need is not another attempt — it is a diligence record a court will accept. Every attempt is documented with date, time, location, and observation, and the accompanying locate report shows what was searched and where. That is the showing that supports a motion for service by publication, posting, or mail.
